Adding a Payment Method
You need a saved card before you can buy numbers, register brands, top up your balance, or upgrade your plan. Manage cards at Billing → Payment Methods.
Add a card
- Open Billing → Payment Methods.
- Click Add card.
- Enter the card number, expiry, CVC, and billing address in the secure form.
- Click Save.
The card is verified with a temporary $0–$1 authorization that's automatically released. We never see or store full card details — only the last four digits, brand, and expiry.
Supported card types
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners are accepted globally. Some banks require 3D Secure verification on first use; we prompt automatically when the issuer requests it.
If your card fails verification, the form shows the issuer's reason (usually one of: insufficient funds, card disabled for online use, address mismatch, 3DS required). Fix and retry.
Setting a default
If you have multiple saved cards, mark one as default. The default card is used for:
- Plan renewal charges
- Manual top-ups (you can override per top-up)
- Auto-recharge (see Configuring Auto-Recharge)
- Failed-payment retries
Change the default at any time from Billing → Payment Methods.
Replacing a card
To replace a card without service interruption:
- Add the new card.
- Set it as default.
- Remove the old card.
We retry failed charges on the default card for several days before suspending service.
Currency
All Blocx charges are in USD. We don't issue invoices in other currencies. Your bank converts at its prevailing rate; for predictable spend, consider a USD-denominated card if you bill heavily.
Receipts and invoices
Every successful charge produces an invoice at Billing → Invoices. Download as PDF for accounting, or export the full history as CSV. See Viewing Invoices and Billing History.
Bank account (US ACH)
US bank accounts can be saved alongside cards through the same Add payment method flow — choose US bank account in the dialog and follow the Stripe-hosted micro-deposit verification.
Security
Saved cards are tokenized by our payment processor; the actual PAN never touches Blocx servers.
Removing a card
Remove a card from Billing → Payment Methods. To close the account entirely, delete the organization at Settings → Danger Zone.
